We operate a written repeat prescription system to keep the phone free for emergencies and to prevent mistakes. Prescriptions can be ordered online using Emis Patient Access contact the practice for details on registering for the online service. The prescription can be obtained either in person, chemist collection service or by post, in which case you should enclose a stamped, addressed envelope. Prescriptions can take between 2 & 5 working days to process (excluding weekends) and more if possible if posting as there can be delays in the post. Please do not ask the doctor to write repeat prescriptions during consultations - this decreases the time they have to spend with other patients.
Ordering Prescriptions Online From the 1st of March 2016
The process for ordering prescriptions online has now changed. If you are not already registered for Emis Access (online appointment booking) you will be required to do so, please contact the practice on 01324 552200 to request registration credentials which will allow you to book a GP appointment online and also request prescriptions.
You must be registered for online access as the other link for ordering prescriptions online has been removed.
Some hints & tips -
Remember to state where you want to collect your prescription by completing the box 'Enter the name of the surgery or branch where you'd like to pick up your prescription'. We would encourage chemist collection but if you wish to collect from the practice please type 'collect from practice'.
If you wish to order an item not yet added to your repeat medication list please do so using the message box.
Please do not ask any questions using the message box, we will not respond to them, please contact us in the usual way.
